Jack Dove (b. 1983, London) is an artist and musician working in performance, composition and installation rooted in
engineering practices and sound. He uses electronics, mechanical movement, pyrotechnics and electrical light to
produce visually led sound pieces. His sound encompasses low - frequency waveforms, materiality of sound, and
sample exploration, setting up scenarios where unpredictability is used as a compositional tool.
Dove’s debut album, Music For Fireworks, released by Loose Trax in December 2023, is a collection of rhythmic patterns
and samples
played by strobe lights, mechanically moving steel plates, malfunctioning electronic components, and other artificial
light sources.
Jack Dove is currently exhibiting a collaboration audio sculpture with artist Stefaniia Bodnia (Ukraine) - ECHOES ON
POROUS GROUND, showing as part of Berlin’s
